On February 7 Andrea will perform in support of Saskatoon's Station 20 West community project. Other participating artists include Yann Martel, Henry Woolf, Lawrence Roy Jr, Gillian Snyder & Teegan Jeffers, Uof S Amati Quartet, Eileen Laverly, B.C. Read and Kent Allen. House musicians are Sheldon Corbett, George Tennet and Brenda Baker (host).

Best International Artist - Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards
Andrea won Best International Artist at the 2009 Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards with Sparkle.


Gemini Award Nomination
Andrea has been nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for her work in Rabbit Fall.
The 24th Annual Gemini Awards will be held in Calgary on November 14th. The broadcast will air live on Global and Showcase.


The Heart Truth second annual celebrity fashion show
March 17, 2009 – Canadian celebrities and top fashion designers are joining together to shine the spotlight on women’s heart health at the second annual Heart Truth fashion show at Toronto’s LG Fashion Week.

Andrea will participate with other Canadian celebrities including: Natalie Brown, Cassie Campbell, Arisa Cox, Marilyn Denis, Monika Deol, Rosey Edeh, Jennifer Hedger, Sitara Hewitt, Jessica Holmes, Cathy Jones, Sass Jordan, Erin Karpluk, Lisa LaFlamme, Elaine Lui, Elizabeth Manley, Heather Rankin, Ginette Reno, Monika Schnarre, Amy Sky, Tara Spencer-Nairn, and Kreesha Turner.

The invitation-only show takes place Tuesday, March 17 at 9 pm at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto.


Telemiracle
Andrea again joins the "Saskatchewan's Charity" National Cast and will perform at Telemiracle 33.

The Velvet Devil
Andrea's play "The Velvet Devil" is touring from January 21 to February 10, 2009. Cities include Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto, Peterborough ad Vancouver.

Sparkle
New CD launch - November 5th
The creative spark inside Andrea has caught fire on her third album, a multi-genre original work that celebrates the glittering winter, but also embraces the beauty of summer. Sparkle is a Christmas release, but it encompasses roots and jazz songs for all seasons.


Dinner in the Canyons - Palm Springs
The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum has announced that Andrea will be the featured performer at its annual Dinner in the Canyons gala fundraiser Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Information: 760-778-1079.


The Velvet Devil wins 13 awards at the
SMPIA Showcase 2008 - April 3, 2008

The Velvet Devil has won in all 12 nominated categories in the Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association's Showcase 2008. The film also won the "Best of Showcase" award.

    Rabbit Fall (TV series)
    Andrea stars as police officer Tara Wheaton in this series which is airing on APTN on Friday nights at 6:30 PM in Saskatchewan (7:30 ET/PT) and Saturday at 7:00 PM (8:00 ET/PT).
